About Me

With degrees in English Literature and Film, a Masters in English Literary Studies, and a Masters in Education, I aim to make English more accessible to those that toil at it.I am an English teacher at one of the UK's leading independent schools. With over 10 years of tutoring experience, I have helped countless pupils go on and achieve at National 5, Higher, and Advanced Higher English.

What do you do?

I provide one-to-one tailored tuition for each and every pupil. In English, texts can change from class to class and school to school. So what may be right for one pupil, won't be right for all.

This means that the approach I take will depend on the pupil in front of me. I aim to help pupils understand how to do well in English, not just learn to pass the test.
